With its stunning protected river frontage the remaining estate beyond the gardens and parkland is laid to grass which is used for grazing and hay making.

The estate occasionally produces timber for local merchants.  In 2020 we have supplied 86 35 metre poplars to a local logging company.

The estate also supports a local chasse garde providing occassional hunting ground for wild boar.
